Drive Media House Wins First Place for Cincinnati
In early January, we spent a week filming a commercial directed by our talented friend Tim Neumann. The University of Cincinnati hired us to execute a commercial about campus sustainability that would be entered into a national competition for IDEA (International District Energy Association--Like them here). Two months later, we were notified that our video won first place out of many universities who applied! Watch the video above and read about the process!
We could not have won without the help and willingness of students from the University of Cincinnati. You can't just find an awesome basketball player, violinist, and engineer off the street so we had to work hard to find the perfect three characters to center our video around. We were lucky enough to find three students who fit the character types to help us out for a few hours. We are so thankful!
The University's own President Ono (@prezono) even took time out of his incredibly busy schedule for an interview with us. He is so proud of the work UC has done to "Go Green" and supply the campus with energy.
We spent days researching, preparing a script, calling students, lugging equipment around, and dealing with malfunctioning fog machines in order to make this video. The exemplary directing work done by Mr. Neumann made this all possible, and we thank the University of Cincinnati for the opportunity to showcase the amazing energy saving that is going on at the #HottestCollegeinAmerica.
